Sheila Egoff Children's Prize

The Sheila Egoff Children's Prize is one of the BC Book Prizes, which celebrate the best British Columbian authors each year. The Sheila Egoff Prize is awarded to the best book written for children sixteen years and younger, judged on content and originality.

Nikki Tate of Victoria was one of five authors shortlisted in 2000 for the Sheila Egoff Prize. Her book Tarragon Island represents a new direction for this best-selling author of the StableMates series, and we're thrilled for her. Way to go, Nikki!
